Cross Cultural Awareness Tours
Cross-Cultural Awareness Tours (CATs) are a little bit different to the more traditional form of short-term mission trip.

A CAT provides the opportunity to learn as you experience the life of followers of Jesus in a developing nation and to serve as you stand alongside and encourage others through participation in the ministry of presence.  Affecting the lives of the people you meet as you adapt to and participate in daily life in a foreign culture.

You will be given the opportunity to build relationships, to give the gift of love and encouragement, and to learn and consider new ways of living out your faith in Africa, and also in the context of your own life at home.

An important part of a CAT is daily participation in times of guided group reflection, prayer and discussion around the experiences of the previous day.

Prior to leaving Australia, team members will be encouraged to actively participate in fundraising for community projects supported by Day 4 in Africa and may also fundraise for their travel costs.

Day 4 Community Aid & Development have been leading CATs to Central Africa since 2004.
